Event production company counts on National Bank of Arizona to help its business perform
By Debra Gelbart
Every three days somewhere in America, an event or concert is held that’s been put together by R Entertainment, a Scottsdale-based events company specializing in producing, promoting and managing concerts, special events and festivals.
Co-owners Kerry Dunne and Reed Glick ensure that everywhere they manage an event, there is a charity component—such as donating a portion of the proceeds to local organizations that help disadvantaged children or promote the arts or “helping someone’s dream come true,” by arranging an opportunity to meet the entertainer, Glick said.
Their relationship with National Bank of Arizona helps Dunne and Glick meet their business and philanthropic objectives.
How has National Bank of Arizona helped your business?
“We were looking for a strong financial relationship to maximize our opportunities,” Dunne said. “We’re not a cookie-cutter business, and NB|AZ invested the time to figure out who we are and what our business is and how they could help us get to the next level.”
What do you value most about your partnership with the bank?
“Having a relationship with our banker, Ward Hickey, is wonderful, because we know we can reach him whenever we need him,” Glick said.
What sets NB|AZ apart from other banks?
“Most financial institutions are big and impersonal and they don’t take the time to understand your business, let alone a complicated one like the entertainment business,” Dunne said. “NB|AZ team members came to our office, visited with our staff and were determined to create a relationship not only with Reed and me but with the rest of our staff.”
What would you say to other business owners about doing business with National Bank of Arizona?
“If you want to work with the best banking professionals who understand how business operates, they’re absolutely sensational,” Glick said. “They bring to the table a team of people to help you understand what NB|AZ can do to help your business.”
