With help from National Bank of Arizona, printing company becomes supply chain provider

By Debra Gelbart

In 2000, when Robert Anderson purchased Prisma, the Phoenix printing and graphics company established in 1980, he wanted to expand the business model to meet the changing needs of his clientele. He has successfully transformed Prisma from a traditional commercial printer into a marketing supply chain provider, allowing clients to access a proprietary software that makes revising printed pieces, such as brochures or menus across multiple locations throughout the United States, exceptionally simple and fast. The company also creates unique wide-format billboards, banners, wall graphics and building wraps and offers smaller-quantity printed products at a substantial cost advantage. Anderson has worked with National Bank of Arizona for the past seven years and the partnership has helped Prisma continue to grow. How has National Bank of Arizona helped your company? Last year, we did an acquisition of a printing company and property in North Scottsdale and we actually negotiated the $1.5 million deal with NB|AZ’s help in less than four days. We have had a working relationship with NB|AZ since 2006. It’s more than a bank; it’s community-minded and instrumental in helping businesses connect with each other and move transactions forward. What do you value most about your partnership with NB|AZ? NB|AZ has a great understanding of how all businesses operate, whether they’re retail, manufacturing or industrial. The bankers have great insight they can give you and can help with creative ways to further your business objectives and strategies. What sets NB|AZ apart from other banks? It’s able to help all businesses with their treasury and with loans for building and equipment. It helps businesses grow in Arizona. What would you say to other business owners about doing business with National Bank of Arizona? I think when you’re looking for a community banking partner, you’ll find that National Bank of Arizona is the one that can best help you grow your business.
